About
Nisreen Ghulam
Nisreen Ghulam is the founder and principal of Verzia Consulting. She built her practice at the intersection of Big 4 rigor and PE-speed execution, with deep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition, NetSuite implementations, audit readiness, and post-merger finance integrations.
Before Verzia, Nisreen held roles at Deloitte, PwC, BlackBerry, and Ribbon Communications. She has spent 15+ years translating deal thesis into operational priority for PE-backed companies across SaaS, GovTech, and telecommunications.
At Verzia, Nisreen does the work. The person who diagnoses the problem is the person who architects the solution. This is not a firm that sells on brand and delivers with junior staff. It is a practice built on the conviction that PE-backed finance transformation requires senior judgment on every engagement.
Currently: Harvard Business School, Strategy Execution
Philosophy
Exit-ready is not a phase. It's a discipline.
Verzia exists to build that discipline into the finance operations of PE-backed companies. When the transaction comes, the finance function is an asset, not a liability.
What We Don't Do
We don't throw bodies at implementations. We don't sell hours. We don't layer in junior resources to pad utilization. We diagnose, we architect, and when execution is needed, we deploy senior practitioners under our methodology and our quality standard.
